Disney had the first-ever Disney-sponsored scavenger hunt at Walt Disney World. Hosted by D23, this was an amazing even that spanned all 4 parks and took place May 12th and 13th, 2011.

It was challenging, sometimes vexing, and required you to cover a lot of ground...
...yet it was SO MUCH FUN.

My blog entry about the entire experience
After the hunt ended, I spent a fair amount of time over the next 3-4 weeks compiling an answer key (on the Dis Boards). I have to tell you that while the hunt was great, this was kind of a fun second place. With the help of many people, most notably Good Morning Dew Drop, this came to fruition.

There's some amazing content, like the books typewritten to make them easier to take with you. Or our compiled (and group think) answer keys from the day of the hunt. And there's another answer key that we (try to) keep up-to-date with changes.

I mentioned that I took pictures of the books, and so here they are! You can see how they were arranged and laid out, and why we talk about the "space available to write your answers."

If you really want to drive yourself crazy, print a copy and take it with you and spend a few hours trying to solve the hunt!
Magic Kingdom...its harder than you think! (4MB, pdf)
Epcot...its no wonder they gave us 4 hours here...(4MB, pdf)

Animal Kingdom...Wow is there a lot of detail in this park...
(4MB, pdf)

Hollywood Studios
...there was a strong attention to detail that now seems to be lost to history
- well to most people anyway(4MB, pdf)

So that's the Disney-sponsored event. Some years ago, I did sort of a team builder/ scavenger hunt for a group of us at work. It only covers the Magic KIngdom, but you may find it fun ... please feel free to download it and make it your own!
